My Disco is perfect for you in every way.
Except it is a V8, has cloth seats, is in Yorkshire and is 200tdi spec. Not much rot though!

I think, as much as I love the V8, I am going to have to get a, whisper it.... diesel.
I hardly go anywhere and the fuel bill is annoying me!

I have a different gauge to that. I'll take a pic after a bit of driving later. It is graduated like the fuel gauge but rotated 90 degress.
It's the fuel consumption that seem a bit low, even for this.
Am I right in thinking the ECU ignores the lambda sensors until the engine is at 70...

How long should it take for a Disco 3.9 V8 to get up to operating temperature? And where would this be on the gauge?
I can drive for 20 minutes and it won't be at the 1/4 mark on the temp gauge.
It only really gets near the middle on a motorway run.
I'm wondering if my stat is...

Do you guys see any noticeable difference when using CO2 compared to normal gas?
I use Hobbyweld 5 gas, but it is expensive, and the bottles seem to leak.
I have a few 5kg CO2 fire extinguishers in the garage, as I use it in my aquarium.

Interesting, I didn't know there were variations within the 3.9. I thought the 200/300 was just a trim level.
