    Thanks for confirming that.Yep carpet & soundproofing already pulled back trying to dry it out.Windscreen rubber looks okay as well.I'll have to get inside & get someone to put the hose over her to try & see where the water is coming from.....

    Referring to the photos above if you take out the plastic cover on the right side of the drivers footwell would you see any corrosion holes without taking the wing off ? I say this as i have the same problem wihen it rains the footwell gets soaking wet...many thanks

    Hi,can anyone advise please.I have used low range with diff lock to tow a car out of the snow,slowly for a couple of hundred hards.I then transfered back to high range but the diff lock light has stayed on.I have tried moving the lever back & forth quite a few times.Could it be the switch stuck...

    I have General Grabber AT2 235/70/16 on my 300 tdi,dropped pressures to 20psi well impressed with them.Took it down a lane no-one else had been down,single track & drifts coming off the fields up to the wheel arches,coped no problem

    Well i stripped out the door lock(what a pain) & found the small spring broken,ordered & fitted a replacement.Refitted & all working now,thanks for your help,much appreciated.

    Ok.I have had the outer handle & lock barrel out,all seems fine,although a little play on the plastic that attaches to the rod at the back of the barrel,held on by the circlip.I left that rod undone & operated the inner door handle.That rod(that connects to the outer handle barrel lock) moved...

    Fitting a boost gauge to a 300TDi

    Hi,can any of you advise me on fitting a boost gauge to my 1996 300TDi as i'm new to tubocharged engines.I can't seem to see where the wastegate is to 't' into the pipework.I have an EGR blanking plate fitted as standard,could i tap into this & run a gauge from there? Many thanks in advance
