Despite not at all being a fan of A/F I had no choice from a cost point of view but to go with them for the disco insurance.

Insured ok, but, no documents in post, then a letter saying as i hadn't responded they might cancel my policy, so rung them, they'd apparently emailed them (i guess they'd ended in the spam box) so asked them to send me the documents, which they did.

Completed them all and returned them, then got a letter confirming that everything was perfect, I'm now insured and ignore any other letters saying anything else. Great.

Today i get a text message and an email saying they are going to cancel my insurance and to call them urgently.
Well... is it? I'd have thought any emails or texts would have only been sent if they were relevant, i can understand old letters accidently been sent, but, not emails or texts. So, do i go by the letter which says all is good, or the emails and text and be worried?!

Maybe this will only be a year long deal with A/F then off to find a better insurance company who send out non-confusing messages to customers.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for the offer, all has been sorted now, did just seem to be the email and text system is automated and wasn't updated with the fact that you had everything you needed from me.

Pretty standard procedure with Flux.

Whenever I hear the name I always think **** up and brewery.

Poor old Dan. He must have a real ****ty job.

Just had a quote from them for my 1996 disco tdi limited mileage etc they are no cheaper than going through a comparison website....pretty poor really considering they claim to give us members cheap deals.....

Gotta be honest I've not had a problem with Flux, were the cheapest by miles on my modded Disco 1 and just taken out a second policy on another modded Disco and again came out cheaper.
