    Tight........

My money is with divie on a dry relay. My s3 had sat for 15yrs prior to me getting it and the drive home was fun to say the least, massive steering effort required. Now with the proper oil (or at least some oil) in the really it's hardly fingertip effort but very much what it should be. Hope...

    Question regarding speed

Mines a series 3 2.25 petrol completely standard with fairey overdrive. It will make 60 ish at a push but is happier between 40 and 50, drums all round will make you think about speed in a whole different way.

    Transfer Box

My yellow lever was stuck due to the vehicle having sat for years. Taking the tunnel off and degreasing around the part where the rods enter the box. Cleaning up and lubricating the actuator rods helped 100%.

    Uprated headlamp units for RRC?

I did the same as Spencer and got new wipac units and new bulbs, the difference was pretty good! My old lenses were yellowed and the reflectors had gone a bit manky, you will be amazed at how good a nice new fresh set of OE lenses and some bright bulbs work at night!!!

RRC – seriously impressive in the snow!

Its a bit "antisocial" but thats not really a worry to me. This gives you a better idea I took the video while having the seats out to refurb the leather: YouTube - Strange Rover - Cherrybomb My neighbours have grown used to me over the last few years as I built this and the exhaust...

RRC – seriously impressive in the snow!

I agree wholeheartedly:) In answer to the OP I have no feckin idea what my MPG is like due to a dicky gauge but given the fact I have binned the entire exhaust from cats back and replaced with £35 of pipe plus a cherry bomb I suspect mine may be worse. I am just having too much fun to measure...

Pics of your RR in the snow...

You sir raise a valid and interesting point, however seeing as how I haven't gotten round to sorting the drivers side leccy window (its missing the runner channel) i am oblivious...... The only downside was when attending (against my will) the KFC drive in window with a friend last night, I...

RRC – seriously impressive in the snow!

Mine is absolutely steaming through the snow here, I am however going out to the garage in the morning to fashion a "warm up quicker you git" device from cardboard or plastic just like mike has!!!!!!!! Mines going well with just BFG a/t's on the front and endura runways on the back axle!!!!!!

Pics of your RR in the snow...

I was not present for the exhaust fitment day, they did however send me this video complete with dastardly and mutley laughter and the near execution of the mechanics staffy by a reversing RRC (no dogs were harmed etc): YouTube - Strange Rover

    Well, whadda ya think?

I concur, lovely nick but £2.5k is mental money. Mine was lower in the miles and a few grades lower in appearance (now recitifed) but was only a grand (91 hard dash auto 3.9l) Shop around buddy, plenty out there!
