Roof Bars (for vehicles without roof rails)

Pair of roof bars to fit Range Rover (L322). I don't believe they fit the Range Rover Sport. These bars are to fit vehicles WITHOUT permanently fitted roof rails. The bars were originally supplied with allen bolts which secure the bars to the roof, but I have replaced these bolts with...

There's a water shedder modification that LR fitted as well, to stop this problem happening. Not sure of the part number, but I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction

    EGR Valve operation

Just replaced mine with an Allisport unit. 15 minute job, and on first impressions (10 mile drive to the local tip & back), are that it seems a smoother with a bit more torque. I seems to change gear a bit more readily, where as before it would seem to hang on a bit longer before changing up...

    Coolant - leak

replaced my water pump back in february, had exactly the same as you, couldn't really see where it was coming from until I removed all the clutter around it, even then it wasn't completely apparent. A local independent LR specialist confirmed it was the pump and quoted me £500 ish to do it...

So, How totally fecked am I??

Had a 'welded in' ABS sensor on my old Ford Galaxy. Had to drill that one out as it wouldn't succumb to anything else.

L322 brake disc cover rotted round the bolts so loose ,best fix?

I cable tied mine in the short term, but to replace it means taking the whole damn hub apart!! in the end i took the disc off, got 3 big washers, took the bolts that secure the plate, stuck the washers over the rusted bits then replaced the bolts. not pretty, but you can't see it behind the...

So, How totally fecked am I??

There are specialist nut removal guys out there. We used one when my lad destroyed a locking nut on his Corsa after a local tyre fitter had torqued it up to about a million lbs/ft with an air gun. The guy came out and I assumed he was going to drill it out (cos that's what we;d discussed on the...

    Locking wheel nut key

someone suggested the tray under the boot floor. have you lifted the boot floor cover up and looked in there. there's a foam tray with indents for all the bits and bobs like the towing eye etc. my locking wheel nutkey lives in its own little hole in this tray.

Bulb in Clocks / Instrument lights

according to RAVE, it is just about that simple as far as I can see. take off the top of the dash, remove two screws either side of the cluster, remove 3 multiplugs and it should just lift out. the bulbs are accessible on the rear of the cluster - Guide for removing temp gauge good luck

    What a total Prat!!!

Put a claim in via PayPal for a 'significantly not as described' item, they nearly always (in my experience) come down on the buyer's side.
