I have a 99 TD5 disco auto gearbox which will not start. Probably not unusual but the circumstances are puzzling. When the key turns I get 6 warning chimes and the m&s signs flash on and off. The engine does not even turn over. I can hear the fuel pump and the solonoid clicking but nothing else. I had the starter motor replaced a few months ago so assume its not that (unless faulty). Won't jump start either. Any ideas?
