got a problem with my disco td5. got a temp warning light on dash saying that there is a problem with the gearbox which is auto. looked in handbook which says that the temp has got too high in the box due to heavy towing or hot weather none was the case. it has only just started doing it the last day or too and only on short trips

Could be a faulty temp switch, easy to replace.

Check transmission fluid level - ours did that - turned out to be nearly 2 litres short of ATF

hi there all. ive dropped all the fluid out and changed the filter and its still on.help please?
