Didn't start too well for me. I'm currently sat in MaccyDs waiting for the very nice man from the AA. Neil was an absolute legend diagnosing the issue for me.

Had a fantastic day yesterday ..didn't take loads of pics cos I was having too much fun driving:D.
I will exclude the drive home from the fun part though cos that was a different matter entirely :rolleyes:

Had a disaster with the spy camera mounted on the windscreen: my mate & I never realised it does not auto focus like much of today's camera tech. So al the footage was a blurred mess.... ARSE! :( :( :(

Neil borrowed my camera and took quite a few pics when we stopped for lunch at Samer water- the water was quite literally everywhere; up to the road, no car park! I'll upload them soon, but off out to parent's in a bit for some Christmas dinner ;)

Thanks to all for making it a cracking day out, especially to Neil & Andy for giving me the confidence that a stock D2 can go up Cam intact! :tea: Ta to drewster for passing out the Wurthers Originals :D

Beaver, glad you got home OK. hope to see you, your good lady and the 110 sometime next year. On the good side, the screwed rear hub, bearing etc. was discovered on easily accessible tarmac and not up Cam, in the dark!

Just spent the last couple of hours of daylight inspecting the underside of my D2 & removing the rear pads from the offside caliper. :( Seems some anti rattle grease had contaminated the inner pad (about 1/3 of the bottom of it). I'll get some new pads but have wire brushed that bit and cleaned the disc with a bit of petrol.

Oh well... apart from that.....
GOD, I LOVE LAND ROVERS!

Had a great days lanning today, despite my damage and even during the damage my little sportrak didn't get stuck, all in all I think it held its own playing with the big trucks. (Still want a 110 though)

Thanks to the organiser (suew?), to the leaders (sorry I'm rubbish with names) and to the gars openers/ closers.
Will get some pics up later.

Hi had a great day out(sunday) good to see you all again get sume pic and video on later when get shouted out ps can you email me the map for to plz .

Thanks to everyone involved in todays trip, we had a great time! Freda Freelander came out of it with only a slightly reshaped exhaust so I'm pretty chuffed about that. I especially want thank everyone that gave us a hand when we got stuck a couple of times. You all made us feel really welcome thanks again and if you've got any pics I would love to see them!!! :) good times!

good couple of days this weekend, cheers to all for making it what it was.
most travelled award must go to discopol who hitched a ride with more than one of us, and was insulted on more than one occasion and took it graciously :p
unfortunately my camera cocked up so the only pics I took was on difflock's phone.
sorry to beaver for arriving with a wheel bearing dryer than a nuns crotch and having to get a piggy back home from the meeting point, and to lewist for remodelling the side of his motor on Belford.

cheers!

Thanks everyone for a great weekend, enjoyed both days. And thanks to Drewster for my waffle boards, they were used for the first time to day to rescue the Freelander from a ditch. Lovely to meet all the new folk and a great shame Beaver had to go home.

Very sorry to lewist1993 for the damage Belford caused, although you were warned and chose to have a go at it anyway :D:D I was behind you and cringed when you drove it all the way up the side slop resting on its side on the bank but the wheels were still pulling it forward :eek::eek::eek: And thanks to Discopol who assures me the only reason my Landy stayed on its wheels was his weight in the passenger side :D:D:D:D

Belford has got a lot worse since the last time I drove it, luckily everyone decorated and no one did it in reverse :cool::cool::cool:

I also towed someone for the first time today and got to use my recovery stuff to get the Freelander out of the stream/ditch it was trying to cross.

And finally thanks to Neil and Zip for leading
