As above, where would I start, to trace the coolant leak. Also would it be ok to put just water in the coolant bootle, until I find the problem and then top up with the correct gear, and how to bleed the coolant system would help, once the problem is discovered. Thanks.

Mine was one of the core plugs behind the pump. I sold it quickly....

it could be a number of leaks as all said on here before you do not say what engin you have is it petrol or diesel eith could be water pump td4 it could be the hose going over the gear box or even the metal pipes that go behind the engin let us know and we will try to help but when the engin is hot do not just put cold water in as this can crack the head open
