Due to me being a dunce and punting a fellow landy owner up the arse last night I need a new winch solenoid box :(

However doing a quick google this morning its not as easy as I thought it would be. Its a Winchmax one, does anyone know anywhere selling the solenoid boxes for them? i have emailed Winchmax themselves but while i wait for a reply i thought i would see if anyone here knew of anywhere :)

you did what? Is that what the sailors are calling it now?!

Regarding your solenoid, just get a generic one, it will be better than the cheap one that came with your winch.

The best of the best is an albright - HERE

Or a slightly cheaper durite - HERE

Its already got an albright, the place i got it from upgrades the solenoids for better reliability :)

Its not the solenoid i need, its the box it goes in and i can only find the whole wiring kit for £150 but i dont really need another solenoid/controller and remotes :(

Thinking of just getting a waterproof junction box from B&Q and drilling the required holes in it :D

oh. sorry that wasn't clear in your OP. Or i understood it wrong.

in that case yeah just do your best to waterproof it then.
