2001 1.8 GS station wagon. More or less standard. Had it for a year or so and aside from cambelt service have had new wheel bearing on the rear offside, new heater matrix (that hurt a bit) and various bits and bobs that I ,ve sorted myself. I like the old girl and would not go back to a car. Its done nearly 80k so I am expecting HGF but so far so good. Just discovered she runs much smoother on the higher rated unleaded. Anything big and it's off to RCV who have been very good. The guy's that really hate there F/L's should get shot of it - I,m not one of them.:)

Eldest TD4 COMM in fleet is 166Kmiles all original, no frills or fancies, coated with oil and grease yearly, full synthetic oil throughout, props removed April to October, never washed or polished, great workhorse and doesn't owe me a penny.

Mines a 2000 XeDi, called 'Hippo' (okay, not exactly original I know but the daughter likes that name). Bought it 18 months ago to pull our pikey wagon. Does a grand job. Had 72000 on the clock, now nearly 91000. Lots of issues but nothing really major. Never owned a car I've had to repair so much. Never owned a car I've loved to drive so much. Some cars just age badly, the Pug 206 backend is just wrong now, where as it was a great looking car when it came out. The FL1 just looks 'great'.
