Hello all, I just bought a 2015 disco4 with 240kms on the clock. All good until a really loud whine started on the way home, its on the passenger side of the engine bay, it happens between 1-2k rpms while driving, no loss in power so could it be the turbo?

Cheers

Twin turbo model, so get googling and see what rpms second turbo cuts in at.

The wife fell out of her seat when you braked at the crossroads ?

As above, check the oil feeds to both turbos to be on the safe side,
On a TD5 I'd also say check the exhaust manifold hasn't warped but that squeal/whine/whistle becomes a constant above certain revs and doesn't disappear.
