Which engine to choose

Hi all

I got a problem and wonts some advise.

Yesturday while my son woz clearing up from sunday dinner the motor on the waste muncher gave out yet again. now its had 3 motors in 2 years so I fink the proper motor has a design fault.

Now I got a finking I could just replace this motor with one o the spare engines I got laying around my yard. Now I have a choice of a 200 tdi, a 300 tdi or a 4.0 V8.

Now I woz thinking of one of the doosels cos then I can run a direct feed from the drain on doris chip fryer and the it wont cos much to run.

also which ever way I go do you thing direct drive will be ok or should I fit a transfer box as well to make it 2 speed with diff lock ?

200tdi and make sure you use a disco transfer box every time
