Hi all. Having endless trouble with the immobilizer in my 95 300tdi disco. What year did the spider become part of the system or do all 300's have it?? if there is no spider is there a way of bypassing the damn thing so i can start it??? Also when off roading, accasionaly when i try too hard and hit a Big bump the hazard lights start flashing and wont stop untill i stop the engine and press the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob. Btw its the 2 button remote. Thanks all

"Spider" immobilising with the two button fob is fitted to the 96MY disco introduced in June 1995.
Use your emergency access code to temporary remobilise your engine or there is a patch lead available to permanently bypass the system but u will have to get access to the "spider". Land Rover Anorak Technical Discovery I
Hitting a bump is activating an inertia crash sensor so unlocking the doors if locked also activating the hazards, that's normal, yours may be over sensitive or perhaps u should slow down, resetting is by turn the starter switch of and on again
