Cool, will have to be when I get me LPG sorted out, cant afford to run down there on Petrol, plus with my small petrol tank I'd be stopping every 25 miles to fill up

ohhh the joys of v8 owners .... aintcha got that sorted yet ??

if yu come down - yu can pop in on eightinavee anorl :D.

thas an idea, will keep it in mind, want to see what happens when I go back to me LPG tuning guy, see what can be done after hes fitted the leads and coil pack.........

talking of eightinavee, hes been quiet last couple of days :(

i thought you had ....

So did I...........

Took it to someone who the company who supplied the LPG recommened to have it tuned up, he improved some things, just not everything so I was putting it down to something mechanical, maybe the cam shaft, went back to me LR/LPG specialist (the one that won't touch my gas system cos they know fook all about it) and they inform me that what hes done aint made much difference and it's still running lean, now I have power from 50mph in top gear, but between 30 and 50 in either 4th or 5th gear she is still falt, bit worrying as the guy who tuned it up said "that's as far as I can go" as he was entering settings on his laptop as I was driving along, however I have been driving on petrol for the last 100 miles and I'm able to enjoy the power and torque the V8 has to offer in all gears at various speeds so I'm happy it's not an engine fault, just unhappy I have to run on petrol until I can get the actual fault pin pointed.........

its technical stuff is lpg ... dont understand it meself .... and its years since i worked on petrol engines ..

all that v8 and lpg stuff baffles me , so i'm crap with it ....

It's the LPG stuff that baffles me, in theroy I know how the set up works, but I would never attempt to tune it up on a Laptop in case I totally **** it up

As for the V8, I know if I really put my mind to it and went over instructions, manuals a few times and really took my time over it I could fix it, FFS I've fixed tractor engines, combine engines, mowers, forage harvesters, JCB telescopic handlers, I should manage a V8, but I always had someone telling me what to do and put me right, they were my dad and my boss, sadly they are both dead now so nobody to watch over me and without that and with me being Autistic I seriously lack the confidence, things I've already done (like changing brake discs and pads on various other cars) I can do without help, which is why when I get round to buying new discs and pads for the Disco I won't think twice about doing it, I'll be stripping the old ones off in the street as the courier unloads the new ones :)
