At last I have had my disco back, took 2 weeks, the garage was doing the job in between other customers. Finally it was the complete boot including side panels and both wheel arches were patch welded, the whole painted both inside and underneath and a rear support below the door fitted. So for £200 for parts and £300 for the welding etc I now have an useable car. What could I have bought for £500 ????? Very satisfied, a few more year of life. Considering I have had it 8 years at a cost of £2000. Since purchase have laid out £1000, £500 for a new head, my fault, tried to reach top of hill when temp guage said NO! Yes I have bought the normal service parts incl a new starter and alternator. Mileage to date 150K year 1996.
