Hey all. This is not debating the value of Waxoyl as a treatment. More a question of value for money. Whilst I can service my car and bits and bobs I have quite. Damaged spine following my military career. Long story short there is no way I could spend to much time underneath the landy scrubbing washing and waxing. I have been quoted £560 by rust master. For a full treatment. The car not me. Nenes waxoyl shop is around £600 for the same thing. Is this good value in your opinion. Are there other places? I know I'm really paying for labour. Opinions?

About 1/2 mile away. Kent commercial vehicles have just got back toe with a quote for a underside clean and full underside wax for £200. That's pretty good. They don't do inside the box frame or doors. I suppose if I buy a hand pump thing and some Waxoyl I could do that bit. How difficult is it to spray inside the chassis. Looking at time frame and bending here?

I did my disco with Waxoyl spray cans.. :)
So you can use them for the nook and cranies but u will find waxoyl does washed off on the leading exposed areas so they will need retreatment every year. I now use some black stuff and although 'runny' it shrinks and drys a lot harder than Waxoly
£200 is a good price for power-washing and then drying and the waxoyl and then VAT..

Cool thanks for that. I'll go for the £200 and then rope some mates in to help me with the "internal" bits. Must admit found "rustmster" to be a little full on pushing their product. I suppose sales at the moment are needed in these tough times. I just don't like the hard sell.
