water Leak then no leak

Hi My freelander 2001 had a coolant leak only problem now about to take it to my friend jack a mechanic and there is no sign of a leak any ideas what component could cause this.I just hope he can locate the leak when he takes the undertray of on the garage rampsRegards Martin.

Hi Its the dreaded 1.8 petrol,drain from the ac is that air conditioning it dosent have any, as for the leak i have now discovered it is on the front of the engine block i think where the inlet gasket is located,Regards Martin.

That's on the back? The exhausts on the front! Inlet manifold gaskets leak, as do water pumps, head gaskets, hose joints leak, there's loads that can leak! Worry is the head gasket cos if coolant drops they overheat very easily and blow the head gasket:(
 
Hi The leak is just below where the exhaust is connected,like you say could be anywhere, i will find out next tuesday when it goes into the garage at work that is the garage built to service the factory delivery vans my mate jack who is retired uses it to do all the staffs cars as well cash in hand.Regards Martin.
