Hi guys some of you may remember my previous posts about power issues.

Since I bought the D2 last October I've been experiencing loss of power, misfire etc etc.

I replaced a few things like the injector Harness and Wastegate modulator, also got rid of the EGR vavle but unfortunately the demon kept coming back. I was ready to burn it :mad:. I checked the fuel pump, removed and cleaned it etc.

Last night I was looking around the forum and saw quite a few posts about the wastegate modulator.....now having replaced this with a brand new one I never really gave it a second thought, but it couldn't harm to try. So since last night it's been driving better than ever before (touch wood) no powerloss .....

Now giving the Defender is set up this way and I'm obviously having problems with the modulator is it OK to keep it bypassed like this?

Fingers crossed this has solved the mystery problem :D
