So quick update to you guys, I cancel the order for the launch scanner because a friend with a Nanocom was gonna read my truck but things didnt work out so anyways, I purchase a a new MAP and it also didn't work (although it was a cheap chinese one because I can't find the original Bosh).

Anyways for now I can live with AAP sensor disconnected and the wastegate bypass with 11 threads Its running at 1.4 bar, the truck runs waaaay better then before, it has a lot more power so I have more confidence to do overtakes on the highway.

It will stay like this until purchase a nanocom for better reading of the parameters

Question if I did the wastegate bypass does the ECU still can do overboost to protect the turbo if I set the threads too low?

I had a similar problem a few years ago and land rover guy I know replaced the injector seals. He said he knew this having had issues where he had done all the other stuff mentioned here with no joy. Sorted the problem and a fairly cheap repair.

Hmmm other then lack of power above 3k rpm the truck always starts with no problem and runs well.
It's a cheap repair sure but I'm afraid of messing up the injectors lol then it becomes a very expensive repair.
I will study how to do it or find a good mechanic to do the job, tks for the tip

But did you plug back the AAP sensor after you swapped the MAP?

Why did you bypass it? The overboost protection has nothing to do with the wastegate modulator but don't be afraid it will not go to overboost with AAP senso unplugged, it's even strange that you get 1.4 bar that way cos the ECU is supposed to limit the fuelling to max 1 bar

I did plug back the AAP with the new MAP, still runs poorly (not sure if it's the new MAP that was not working or if the problem is elsewhere)

I've install a turbo gauge and plugged from the turbo pipe to measure the 1.4bar, without the bypass or with the bypass but the aap connected it stays at ~1.1 or even lower when changing gears... with the bypass and 11 threads on the wastegate it stays at solid 1.4 all the time at full gas (which maybe too much but I'm enjoying having a little power right now 😅)

I did the bypass and disconect the AAP because it's the best result I've got so far, the difference in power is pretty big
