hi guys ,
ive gotta change the above as the one at the mowment has ripped from its rubber mount?
is this a common fault ? i find it hard to beleive ?
also does anyone now what the damper does? is it a kind of weight to stop the prop vibration?

also on replacing do i need to drop the whole prop off and do i need a special tool to separate the prop at the spline

any help greatfully received thanks again

Yes very common. Do not buy the cheap ones from ebay, they are so out of balance we just bin them if we receive them on exchange units as they cause more vibrations than they stop!! To be honest you can run without the damper, i never run them on my own FL's and cant feel any difference. The V6's dont even have them.
