Hi Guys,
i have just had 4 x General Grabber ATs fitted to my Disco 2, tyre size is 255 x 55 x 18, i dont use it off road and i dont tow, does anybody know the correct pressures for these tyres or do i just stick to the manual ??
Kevz.

Thanx Brainboy81 but thats weird coz my manual says
FRONT:30
REAR:38
yet u have more air in the front tyres is this correct ??

that cud be coz he is talking crap. wud yu belive me if i sed 26 front, 153 rear?

The disco manuel says 28 front, 38 rear.
emergency soft - 17 front, 25 rear.

but best to do the chalk test for your particular circumstance.

ref Chalk test, it involves drawing a chalk line across the tread face, drive a short distance straight ahead on a smooth surface and then observe the chalk line. You are looking for it to be evenly worn off the tread, this 'guides' you on whether you have little/too much tyre pressure.

I have the same size wheels/ make of tyres as you and I run 35 front 38 rear but I have 3 children and 2 fat labradors in the back!!
