turbo or waste gate or both

I always think that if a belts starts slipping it is time to change the belt - now if you have also dumped antifreeze on it then it's going to slip away - change it and get the tension measurement from the tech specs. Make sure the pullies are degreased and clean of any rust or rubber etc.

I've got a 52 plate TD4 and people are telling me I have a waste gate and some say I have a variable vain turbo.. Anyone got any idea what turbo was fitted to these..?
