yeah , to me a disco is the same as drivin any big car, they all look the same ,(crap) no charictor, if yer in a series or early 90 / 110 people stop and think , fookin 'ell thats in good nick fer its age, i always wave or flash them , as most old ones give me a wave, like yer say, i pull up some where in me series 2 or 90 with an old sankey trailer on covered in ****e, thers always someone comes over and stops to talk bout landrovers

I only wave at series motors and tdi defenders with some bolt on bits attached. Everything else here in the city is just a status symbol, and i dont like disco's :D

well said!:D

last time i were down bristol, me arm dropped off from waving to series and 90 /110s, ther must of been 100s a day:)

I don't really like em either but for ferrying a family round, towing, daily hack they are better than a Series or Defender because they are quiteish, comftable ect

Series is still better though :D

still not convinced  yer wouldnt get me out of my leaky , noisy, slow landy fer some comfy disco school run, and grass verge off roading:eek:

As well as my beloved series 1 i also drive a range of other 4x4's. The problem is these have no soul - so i accept that noone wants to acknowledge me.
The series 1 however - people love.
I get loads of waves - problem is i can only give a quick wave in response as i need two hands on the wheel to stop me from going in the verge :)

I'd wave but all the miserable gits in Defenders and Series would just ignore me anyway cause my Disco doesn't look all tricked up.
