Well this morning the Freelander deciced to lose power and stall while my wife was going to work, gradual loss of power then when she pulled over to the side of the road it died.

Lone female so she got priority status from the AA who still took an hour and a half to get to her on a main road just outside Stirling so not exactly in the sticks. Wouldn't like to see how long it takes to get to a low priority case.

Code reader came up with a fuel sensor fault so time to start reading up on the fuel sensor and pressure threads.

Checked with the local Land Rover dealer and they want £287 for the sensor, harness and o'ring, what a shocker!!!!!!

Yeah, that's what I was hoping, I went down to the garage this morning and checked the connectors, they looked clean but gave them a clean anyway. The harness mod has already been done so looks like it's the sensor.

I need to get one quick but everywhere is closed, can't get one until Wednesday, also tried my local BMW dealer, they want £172.52 plus vat, shocking, no need for those prices.

Bosch part number of the one I've removed is 0281002788
