Hi guys, its been a while since had to ask for advice ( even though I have two discovery 2s and two 3s ), a month ago I was driving my 03 plate discovery td5 on a very wet day through lots of standing water when the chime went off and the three amigos plus the red brake light popped up, I thought it would dry itself out after a while but the lights are still on.
I removed and checked the box from under the driver’s dash but that was fine, checked the red plug which was clean put the Solaris reader on and it gave fault code 85 high speed crank synchronisation lost fault, this fault will not clear.
Just to be clear, the disco never faltered when the lights appeared and has no running or starting problems ( it does surge on tick over when it is first started but it’s done that for a long time ).
I just want to get the lights off the dash.

Hi, I dont know anything about "Solaris reader" but seems like some generic OBD2 tool which has not much to do with the D2 especially that the fault code is specific for engine management it's not about ABS... find a proper land rover dedicated diagnostic tool which can connect directly to the SLABS ECU and when you'll have the correct ABS related fault code we'll speak again

Hi sierrafery, I got myself a autel reader and it showed rear right wheel speed sensor no signal on live data, changed the sensor and still the same, checked the two pin socket for feed and got 4.8 volts which is around the correct voltage, so removed new sensor and discarded the Oring which it came with, refitted the sensor and drove down the yard with live data showing all four sensors reading.
Cleared the fault and now have a clear display, it was the red brake light that threw me but it disappeared along with the three amigos.
