A 1992 Range Rover Vogue SE 3.9 V8 EFi Automatic!

And it only cost me £350!

5 Months MOT
12 Months TAX
314,193 miles on the clock (however full service history makes up for that!)
New tyres 1,200 miles ago
Just been serviced by a Land Rover main dealer 2,000 miles ago

Here are the luxuries:
Tan Leather seats (mint I may add!)
Anti-Lock-Braking (essential in this conditions, and something the Disco doesn't have)
4 Speed Automatic
Alloys
Remote Locking (not standard, as the car didn't have it originally)

The owner is delivering her straight to my door any minute now!

I haven't driven the car yet, but he only lives a few miles away so I can get in touch with him if there is a fault, but to be honest, at £350 it is a steal even if it is ridden with faults! Since Classic 3.9 EFi's are so rare now.

I can't wait!

Now it can snow all it wants and I won't care! **** you snow!! :D

They'll be coming soon :D

I gave the owner a lift home, and she drives great! He said the only fault he knew off was a very slight leak from the PAS pump.

Just enough to dip below the MIN mark over a week. So not much of a leak, it doesn't effect the steering responsiveness, so I'll leave it!

The engine starts up after 1.5 seconds of cranking, and purrs quietly at a rock solid 800RPM!

The ABS works great, I sped up to 40MPH and slammed on the brakes fully in deep snow, and the speedo didn't skip to 0MPH for a second! Fantastic :)

Bargain! I'm, suspicious as to why anyone would sell a car for £350 after spending £205 on tax though! Why not just buy 6 months? Or at that price, sell it without? Odd!

Anyway, that's a massive mileage so sounds like a good 'un - if it was a dud it'd have died a long time ago I reckon!

One last things - pics pics pics!!

My advice, pay the guy a retainer and ask him to keep doing whatever he's been doing to keep it in shape. He clearly knows what he's about so it's a wise investment! :D

oh and.... pics, pics, pics!

excellent price

I wouldnt be surprised if the engine has been rebuilt or replaced, maybe twice lol but thats good for you!

a 92 se did have central locking as standard as its an se. also you have heated door locks so enjoy them in the snow!!

Pic? Anyone asked for them yet? :D

Ok these heated door locks I've been hearing about........ How ye activate them? Mines is an SE and I've never noticed them. It's got heated mirrors/front screen/rear screen/ but not sure bout locks :(

Easy - if you put your key in the drivers lock (or passenger side, I assume?) and it won't turn because it's frozen, just hold the door handle out for 30 seconds (or up to 2 minutes if really frozen!) and then try the lock again - if they're working, the lock will be defrosted and turn with ease!

Be patient for Christ's sake

Once the snow clears away a little bit I'm going away for a few days holiday, where it is hopefully snow free, so I'll get pictures then.
