TD5 dif lock

Hi folks, has anybody had ny probs with the dif lock light coming on when the brake is applied or using the reverse gear?:doh: Mine just started coming on, all is o.k. when in forward gears. Any advice would be helpful. Cheers
 
The Diff Lock has its own light switch which is adjustable, and the wiring might be chafed under the floor or the connector off the switch and grounding somewhere.

Have a look underneath and see if anything is obviously loose.

Thanks for that mate, where did you find that one out? Just replaced the fuse and alls well again, cheers
 
well after having the same problem and spending an hour or to trying to find a fault and checking earths i ran out of ideas until i found the fuse had gone but the problem is no it still goes every now and again
 
get outside under your td5 and start tugging on wires around your gearbox, i had this with my reverse lights coming on around our offroad site
