They've been around for a long time. Audi has been using TTY bolts on suspension components for 20 years. They shouldn't be reused, but people often do without issues as far as I can tell.

Yes indeed, we were a long time in the canaries, the rover in my profile picture came from Tenerife, we lived on Fuerteventura. Happy days !

Give Muddy Mods a call, they are based in Nottingham but replace Subframes and the outriders. Might be worth a call. These subframes are sold to garages from Brit Part. The Northern Ireland company get theirs from Brit Part, so they go from Brit Part to N Ireland then back out to the UK

This one comes with the bolts but has some arms missing ? most likely why they supplied the bolts

In the end, Michael at Eurosubframes sorted me out with the subframe, arms and bolts. He reckons we might need a different rear anti roll bar but we will see when we go to fit it. Once it’s done I’ll update here with the part nos. Etc relevant to our VIN and model.
