and you need a KAM, not an ARB.
kams you gotta cut your axle casing and weld on a new flange
arb works for me..

yea, but you're not relying on a ****ty air-horn compressor and length of plastic tube that's forever getting ripped out of the axle by passing rocks / tree stumps (hee hee).
yep front and rear.I had a scouse girlfriend once brilliant flange. Do you have an arb wilti L
yep front and rear.
ive never had hoses ripped out or axle breathers ripped out,the inlet is on top of the locker so a rock getting to it is pretty remote
the steering goes as if you had no power steering is the easiest way to describe it.Cheers mate. Does a front one effect the steering and how would you rate the increase in traction?

with a front locker engaged you have to think about what your approaching you wouldnt want to try and engage it halfway round some tight bends.
with both lockers engaged its unbeliveable some of the hills i can tackle on almost just over tickover is unreal
a rear locker is always the way to go first,2 lockers is just showing off
yes its best to be stopped to engageThanks for that sounds fantastic. Do you have to be stopped to engage it. If you forget its on is it murderous on tarmac. sorry for all the questions but quite a bit of money and i want to get it right
I've never had lockers on any of my landys. I have however, researched them and in my opinion, the KAM is superior from an engineering perspective and that's what I'd buy if I could afford / justify it.
In saying that, Detroits probably offer the best value for money.
Bear in mind that you will be far more likely to break a half-shaft or drive flange!
i can only offer my opinion on something i have tried and tested, all the research in the world dont count as much as actually using the item in the real worldI've never had lockers on any of my landys. better to break a halfshaft than your diff, but its all money dependantCheers maty always repect your opinion. Would it be best to uprate the halfshafts at the same time. Are they at risk no matter what locker you get?

like i said money dependantthe problem with uprating TS is the stress goes down the line. uprate your shafts, diff, props then your gearbox goes... you just have to try it and see.
