Just picked this up today.A very reasonable 400 quid and it runs.A bit of welding to be done on the bulkhead and a few other things but at this price i lifted it ASAP.
I`m laying it up untill spring as i dont have a covered work area. The canvass looks in good order with no rips or holes, but it has been stood for a year.Is there some kind of treatment that can be applied to the canvass to maintain it?It looks a bit `Dry`and faded.

Cheers.
Andy.

Never tried it on a landy canvas, but lanolin does a good job on canvas tarps.

You can get special canvas waterproofing/preservation products, but they tend to be expensive and stink of chemicals in my view.

I've seen somewhere (don't recall where) someone suggesting using linseed oil.
DON'T!
Linseed oil on canvas can, effectively, spontaneously combust!
Not something you want to experience, especially on your landy.
