I had a smelly seat in ma rocket, but only seemed to happen after i hit the warpspeed mod, have you had a Rons gizmo fitted? , just a thought . . .:D

Had a BMW that smelt when the air con was on and had a general wif about it inside, that had leather.

Best thing to do is get an air con cleaner from Halfrauds which you set away as the instructions, this kills all the bugs in the air con and the car and leaves an almond smell. After this get some Gliptone (liquid leather) conditioner and apply this to the seats, the smell is like brand new leather.

Failing all of this then it must be something trapped in the fabric of the carpet, underlay or seat sub base which could be a real problem, only thing is to take the item out and replace or deap clean.

As Tash says, the air conditioning can some times smell quite nasty when you turn it off. A good fix for this is to sell your Freelander and buy a V6 Freelander instead, they dont smell you see.
I did hear that Land Rover put a drug in the air conditioning to stop unhappy owners selling them ;)

As long as the petrol stations are spaced at no more than 300 miles apart i'm fine. That's the maximum i've squeezed from a tank of 'go-go' juice

@Mondo, I don't know where you get the idea I'm selling the Hippo
