Hi all,
Been a while since i have posted, the series 2 is finally all one colour.:)
Gave it to a local Guy to me in Bedfordshire and he painted and prepped all for £600 - i don't think that was bad personally.
Now all thats left to do is the welding at the weekend - a small bit in each footwell and a patch on the rear cross member as far as i can see, then slap around some underseal and off to the mot station at the end of the month.
From there, sort out the interior - new seats(high back), matting throughout and maybe even a heater?

The paint job was cheap and has tidied it up nicely.
Would like to fit a new chassis over the next couple of years and repaint properly then.
Started prepping for the welding on saturday - as usual the "3 small holes" got bigger as the grinder came out!
Back on it this sunday with the hope of completing the welding then fingers crossed for the mot next month.
It is pretty straight although leans slightly on the drivers rear corner - new springs needed i think eventually.

Anyone got use for a pair of non landrover seats?
I was given them for the landrover but don't look quite right - gonna source some landrover high back seats instead. Can upload photos of the seats if of interest.

Looking round for insurance at the moment, we currently have our freelander on one policy and the series on another.
I want to have both vehicles on the same policy.
Has anyone got or had a policy that will allow this - I have searched around but not getting much joy.
