hi

It looks like my freelander has driven through a salt mine in its life time. all brake pipe connectors are total solid.

If I put too much pressure on the connector then it will just round it off completely. i have already broken one pipe just to remove the rear brake cylinder.

I have saoked it in oil for 24hrs, but with no positive effect.

Any ideas, if i heat it up then the brake fluid in the pipe may boil.

Whats the best way to remove solid connectors like this?

Thanks as always

Sounds like they need replacing anyway but a good set of mole grips and plenty of plus gas should do it. Dont try WD40 it wont work.

Hi

Mole grips . Now that's a tool! A bit of heat with a blow torch, a cold water spray and then some lubricant.

Then out come those moles and to came of like to was only connected yesterday.

Thanks oh wise one!
