Just a few pictures of Sunday mornings job of trying to extend the life of the newly acquired Discovery 2 TD5. My old 300 TDI rusted away on the sills fairly badly and although I had good intentions of coating the inside with Waxoyl, I just never got round to it! 
The 1st picture is of the sills with the plastic cover removed (I was surprised at how clean they were underneath to be honest).
I found the extension probe pretty useless (even though the Waxoyl was heated and thinned down). I just got the spray nozzle deep inside the breather-holes and let-rip!
Hopefully Ive put a few years on the life of my new Disco (fingers-crossed)
