I have a 1994 Disco 300 Tdi auto.
75mph is 3'500 revs in top. My last manual 200Tdi pulled 3000 revs at 75. This one is correspondingly noisier and thirstier.
Autocar's test says the auto is slightly higher geared than the manual, like the Range Rover.
Has some bounder replaced the transfer box with one from a Defender?
Or does anyone else out there have a similar car?
