Rear door remote locking

Hi all

My rear passenger door refuses to unlock with the fob or the button under the radio.It will unlock when i pull the handle from the inside.
It will also lock with he fob and the interior button.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check connections? Got to be an electrical issue.

Door lock motors can fail on the Rover 75 which shares the same motors with the Freelander iirc. I would think it shares the same fault too!!

Hi James, I have a similar fault with my FL2. Not sure if you have seen my post? I had a garage look at it today and they told me it was the central locking module for that particular door. I had a quick call round and should be able to get one for about 50-60 quid plus vat. My fault seems weird as its like that door is just working in reverse of all the others, locking/unlocking..

failed door locking solenoid, replace locking assembly, £75 from a dealer, £50 from ebay

takes about an hour or so as a bit fiddly, but down to 20 mins now done a few
