hi all, new to the landy scene. we have not long bought a y reg FL 1. however I have notic ed an issue with what I suspect is the rear diff, it seems to be quite tight when reversing, also grinds/notches when making tight left/right turns.

mileage is on 104k now, unsure of history as still waiting for it from the dealer.

done a quick VCU test and the wheel did spin.

any ideas on what the problem could be?

Remove the VCU now, before it destroys the complete drive train.
You can't test the VCU by spinning wheels. The VCU seizes up, so transfers drive all the time. So spinning wheels simply tells you what you already know.

Do the OWUT (search for One Wheel Up Test) on here. It's the only easy DIY VCU test available.

Oh and why it the post made into a poll?
