Rear axle bump stops

n my back axle of my 1976 SWB landy I have round bump stops (about the size of can of pop), is this common? as all the other ones I have seen are a square block type.

LWB are square blocks too.
Maybe its a mil thing, or someones upgraded.

Pics as promised, I ken the Bump stop is on the axle, I'm waiting for a new spring to turn up.

so I dont know if they could be a MOD from a range rover?

unless yer plannin on overloading yer mota on a regular basis i would,nt worry about it.
although you could google "Aeon spring assistors" or even "Timbren spring assistors",might spit summit out for yers
