i cant remember what i pay but its less than that (for comma normal antifreeze not the red or green OAT stuff)

standard blue antifreeze is £20 for 5 litres at my local motor factors. I pay £10. I've just changed the fuel cooler on mine again so I'm running on blue ****e til I know I'm not leaking denzel into my coolant again.

hope it aint too late but you don't need to do a full drain to take the thermostat off do you? and rave says use a clean container to catch it in.. presumably so you can measure what you took out and put the same amount back in..

You are correct in that tigger. However antifreeze does have a limited lifespan. Depending on what type you are running it could be as little as 2 years.

Everytime I blow a fuel cooler I'm looking at a complete system flush followed by ALL fresh coolant.

the chances of my antifreeze staying in for two whole years seem pretty low at the minute.. having changed it completely three times in the past as many weeks.. and still got to do a partial change to put a new thermostat in..
