problamo

right sorted out the UJ's today. whilst I had it in the workshop I though id adjust the handbrake.. well picked the back end up turned the back wheel and heard a rather nasty grinding noise.. anyway bearings fooked..

and the problem no where is open on a weekend and I need to drive 25 mins to the other side of oxford tonight. I can get new bearings from frenchies in the morning.

do I just bite the bullet and have a steady drive ??????????????

Got to think how long have they been grinding for ?? quite a while i imagine, dont think an extra steady 25 mins will hurt - but then again famous last words and all that !

that's the exact thing.... they obviously have been going I just havnt heard emm.. and like you say it will be sods law they seize up on the way back

Ha yes did you win the bearing lottery ?????

hahaha yep i won the lottery i made it back.. got a friend to give me a lift to frog island 4x4 and got new bearings.. she was pretty smashed up...
