Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and I hope that someone will be able to sort my problem out.
I drive a 2002 Freelander TD4 and I absolutely love it! I will post a few pictures.
My problem is, the starter motor bendix does not always engage with the flywheel and makes a grinding/spinning sound. Almost as if the bendix spins in front of the flywheel.
What I have done to try and sort this out: I sent the starter in to be overhauled and I have now replaced the flywheel, but still the problem persists.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
