Hi Guys! Been a long time since i was on here (Sept 2015) i think.
Anyway i had been doing the 90 for about a year and just sickened myself, so after a break from it and a new job im back.
I have started removing my wings, all bolts are out Pass side except the top bolt wing to bulkhead. I just cannot get this bolt out; is threre some kind of yoga possition i need to adopt to get it out? Maybe removing the heater from the bulkhead.

I have done a search and watched vids on youtube but all seem to talk about the Drivers side wing, that bolt can be accessed through the side air vent.

If anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated.
oh its a 1998 300tdi.

Hope all are well and progressing on your projects! Aaron has prob done 3 more Landy's in the time ive been away! lol.

Having just done this myself I know what you mean! However, my air intake is on the passenger side so it was a bit easier. You'll need the wobbly bit and at least one extension bar to stand any chance. Best of luck!

From memory you don't have to get the bolt out. The bolts down the bulkhead are in slots, so just loosen the bolt then lift wing up and outwards to remove it

That's true, they are in slots, so if you get it loosened a few turns the wing might pull up and off.
I used a couple of extension bars and the universal joint on to the socket. That gets the wrench over the inner wheel arch but tucked up against the inner wing. Torch, try to get a slight glance of it/feel the socket on with your hand + loads of patience It's a pain in the neck to do.
