I have a 1995 LWB with mechanical fuel pump from which I get mid-twenties
to the gallon. I understand that the later electric fuel pump model can
give slightly more.

That said, why not pay a visit to the owners' club at http://www.pocuk.com/
and search the forums or ask on-line. It's free to join and its members
have a wealth of experience.

Hi MAn, I Believed that Pajero's Had Different Fuel Consumption, With
Different Engine Displacements, Road Condision, Drivers Skills, Type Of Fuel
Direty, Very Dirty, With Biodiesel or Svo, WSo, Now With The Prices of Fuel
Going Up every Now And Then P[eople Will look For Alternative, I Also
Reseaching For Pajero Fuel Consumption Mine Is A SWB Mk.-2 Pajero with 4d56
tdic, I would Also Wanted If Somebody here Can Post Thier Fuel Consumption

Hi Nestor,

You don't have to live in UK to join the Pajero owner's club - some members
are from mainland Europe, Scandinavia, Australasia, and the Americas. The
searchable forums have lots of information about fuel consumption of the
various models, including some that run on Bio-d, SVO, WVO, etc. However,
your 2.5 should use slightly less fuel than a SWB 2.8. On flattish (i.e.
most of UK) tarmac roads, I'd expect mid to high twenties in miles per
gallon.

If you visit http://www.pocuk.com/ you can check the consumption figures
that others have posted and also ask if you still have unanswered
questions.

Aha! I found your post and see MonkeyHangar's reply. However, if you click
the bold, red "Search" link at the top of the page, and search the forum
for "fuel and consumption", you'll get a lot more. I just did this and got
back 643 matches. This might be too many, so you might want to tighten your
search a little!
