After new head was fitted, car started fine.

Then gradually became harder to start each morning until it would only start on Easy Start. Once running it goes great.

Any ideas? Mechanic suspects filter in fuel tank. Anyone had this problem?:(

How much fuel you got in the tank? could be pick up pipe in the tank or maybe leak off pipes?

Tank is quarter full, New genuine plugs fitted yesterday, no air in the clear pipe.

When cranking over it makes no attempt to fire - at all, but fires up instantly with the Easy Start

My clear pipe is from the filter to the metering head, the ones across the injectors are solid, though one was leaking after the head went on but sorted now;)
Got meself a little  on wots clear and wot aint  :D try filling the tank... least it'll tell ya one way or anuther if it is the pick up

I was in a meeting at 8am, thought I would get out to try it this afternoon.

Left the meeting at 7pm FFS! braindead - headed home and hit the malt.

Will try tomorrow....

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Went to see my Mechanic to tell him to top up with fuel to see if it is a split pipe and he had put it on the computer yesterday to read the faults (his lap top had been to LR for upgrading) and it told him a fuse had gone in the ECU. He did not know it even had one in there (nor me, thats for sure) he changed it and it started on the button.

I went at 11;30 today, it had been stood since yesterday lunch and it started on the button.

Has anyone any experience of this or is my P38 just taking the **** out of me again by starting for the Mechanic?
