Noise when turning right???

Our 04 reg td4 sport makes a scraping\vibrating sound from the back end when you turn right. It doesnt do it all the time ive had it in a supermarket carpark driving round a tree on full lock, it didnt do it.
It seems to only do it when driving normally and we turn right into a road. (It doesnt happen when turning left!) Its done 50k, any ideas what it could be??

Near side rear wheel bearing? A little play could be allowing the brake drum to rub the back plate.

If i jack it up and move the wheel forwards and backwards should i be able to tell?

Raise the car, one hand on the tyre one side, the other hand diametrically opposite. Push with one hand and pull with the other then reverse the effort quickly. Any significant movement means that the bearing has gone.
