Well it's been 3 week and had no jobs to be done on th wifes freelander,(1.8 k series) thought brilliant untill she phoned me friday at work to say car was making a funny noise so told her to leave it on the drive and use the spare car (a Citreon:eek:) well before i got home she rung me to say citreon was not behaving properly was her words so told her to take it home and i will look at both cars. turns out the exhaust has blown on the flexi pipe on the freelander:mad: and the bloody head gasket has blown on the citreon so will be busy deciding whitch one to fix first next weekend when i get home :(. and she had the cheek to ask if she could use my car all week till there mended Dont think so.

no nothing to do exept check fliud levals and give it a wash and polish, mind you over the last 2 months it's had new head gasket, oil rail, new radiator, thermostate, water pumpand a new hydrmount and bottom engine mount. Also fitted new tailgate window regulator, o it's been nice not to have to do anything to it.But i must say i have enjoyed repairing it and getting going again and saving it from oing to the scrappy
