Hi All,
I've just had my 2003 td5 disco in at landrover to have a new ignition Barrel fitted. On it's return, there were four warning lights illuminated on the dash which weren't on before.
They are -the hill descent, traction control, ABS and one other top left.
Does anyone know what could be causing all these to illuminate at once.
Regards, Chris.

I've done that already!
They claim that the lights were off when it left there, trouble is the disco was dropped of at my house. I didn't discover the lights until I drove it the following day. I'm stuck between a rock and a landy service manager.

park it across the entrance to their bays until they sort it - and don't take any nonsense from them

Is there a common problem which may link these particular warning lights? Any info might give me the ammunition to go back to Landrover.
They might pay attention to me if I sound like I know what I'm talking about.

they will probably be fault codes that have turned up in the ecu when they put the new barrel in and connected the recode machine in (computer glitch) this usualy happens with fords and the way ive always reset the codes in the ecu wich make these lights appear is just to disconnect the battery for 2 hours but leave all the lights heater fan and anything else electrical switched on to drain any power out of the system then reconnect the battery if the codes are still there its a genuine fault if not they wont come back
