Rustproofing: 3 times to prevent corrosion.
Polishing / waxing: washed at least every 2 weeks, clayed 3-4 times/year and protected with SONAX Premium Class Carnauba Wax.
Windows are treated with Turtle Clearvue Rain Repellent once a month.
Fuelconsumption: 13-15,5L/100km

Always parked in a heated dry garage. :):):)

New washerpumps for headlights and rear widow at 182.000 km.
New 1000 CCA, 118 Ah Battery at 183.000km

I've revised the LR service schedule: oil and filter on engine is changed every 10-15.000 km with Castrol Edge 5W40.
Brakes taken apart, cleaned/lubed every 10-15.000 km. Parts renewed if necessary.
Oil and filter in autobox changed every 40.000km
Oil in transferbox and diff changed every 40.000km.
Pollenfilters are changed spring / autumm.
Spark plugs every 50.000km (Platinum)

Upcoming repairs:
Headgaskets - pressurizing upper coolant hose and expansion tank - smells badly of exhaust gasses when filler cap is released :mad::mad:
Timing gear
Switching from head bolts to ARP-stud kit (good or bad idea?!)
New throttle body complete with TPS-unit.
New Coil Pack - have a few flat spots when accelerating - I know a blown HG does not help, but been like this for a loooooong time.
Blend motors - "Book-symbol" in climate control from times to times - but engine is more important right now!!
Had some loud banging noises last winter - sounded like the engine, but my local LR garage could find anything - my guess was the Flexplate - but garage said NO... I've also had some serious vibrations in the drivetrain - but they are gone - Divine intervention perhaps???!!!

Rear silencers - right rear one has blown all the glass fiber stuffing out so now it has more of a "American musscle car V8 sound" :D:D wrum wrum

About myself:
36 years old, Economist - now Public Servant - 10 years within the automotive industry in sales/ aftermarket/ management.
True Petrolhead - love Top Gear and 5th gear - used to drive an Alfa Romeo - If you think a Range Rover costs money to maintain... buy an Alfa -That wil teach you never to complain again!!!

Prefer European cars - A few American cars are acceptable - can't really see myself owning a car from the far east - maybe a Subaru - but if I have a choice.... NO!!!
