New member - Porthcawl, South Wales

HI all I am Dave from Porthcawl in sunny South Wales, I bought a Freelander 1 back in August as a 2nd car/ weekend plaything but my other car soon got jealous and blew up within weeks of the Freelander sharing the drive. Anyway the S reg Freelander 1 is now my main vehicle, she is heavy on petrol but I love it. There were a lot of minor things wrong with it, bulbs / heaters etc but I have sorted all of these minor things. I have viewed this forum many times to see how difficult things are and its ace for information. I am not a novice to tinkering with cars but by no means expert LOL. I look forward to chatting with you all over the next few months. Thanks for the tips so far.

i dont normally welcome gaylanders but as your from wales must be ok ,is it a 1.8 or kv6?

LOL Gaylander... its a 1.8 - Bodywork on it is nice to be fair but it needs quite a few things doing to it - brakes and front part of exhaust mainly.
